Now that the Oscars reveals the Best Picture field to 10 films, things are going to get Cocoa Puffs crazy: The Hangover and Paul Blart for Best Picture; Transformers’ Megan Fox for Best Actress.

I wasn't planning on resuscitating this blog until September, but with news this huge, I'll gladly make an exception. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today that it will name 10 Best Picture nominees next year instead of five. Yes, that's right: TEN Best Picture nominees! "After more than six decades, the Academy is returning to some of its earlier roots, when a wider field competed for the top award of the year," said AMPAS president Sid Ganis. "The final outcome, of course, will be the same—one Best Picture winner—but the race to the finish line will feature 10, not just five, great movies from 2009." In the '30s and '40s the Academy recognized between 8 and 12 Best Picture nominees each year.

Angelina Jolie:not replaced by Megan Fox in "Tomb Rider"

Hollywood beauty Megan Fox has said that she has no plans to"take over" the role of Lara Croft from superstar Angelina Jolie.

The 23-year-old beauty who had earlier said that she was irritated by the constant comparison with the Oscar winning actress, had been tipped to replace Jolie in the action franchise. But Fox does not have any such plans, reported Contactmusic.

Megan Fox-play angel in 'the pation'

Megan Fox is going to play Mickey Rourke’s angel in a 'The pation' an indie drama that Mitch Glazer is writing and directing. The Transformers beauty will play an angel who helps a struggling musician (Rourke) finding salvation in 1950's Los Angeles.

Megan Fox was chosen by Warner Bros to replace Angelina Jolie in the third ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ franchise movie, but Jolie refuse to role.
